Whether you're a new parent considering Imagination Station Child Care & Preschool for your child's care or a current member of our community, you may have questions. Here, we've compiled answers to some of the most commonly asked questions to provide the information you need.

What are your hours of operation?

Alden, Elma, and Lancaster:  6:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  Up to 9.5 hours of care are included in your tuition.

Batavia & LeRoy: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Included in your tuition is up to 10 hours of care.

Once I tour, how long after can my child start?

As soon as we have all of your child's paperwork, your child may begin our program.  On average, it takes about one week.

Can I visit with my child to see if this is the right program for us?

Absolutely!  Whichever center you choose, it will be your child's home away from home, so we want you to visit and be comfortable with your choice!

My child's only an infant, why should I care about the education element now?

Why settle for anything less?  Have it all: the loving and nurturing environment, but also a stimulating one where art projects, sensory, bubbles, and music are a part of your child's day, every day!

What are your tuition rates?

Our rates vary based on the age of the child and center location.  2-, 3- and 5-day rates are available. We encourage you to call and get exact pricing for your child.

Are you a daycare or preschool?

Imagination Station Child Care and Preschool prides itself in being educationally based.  We hire teachers who hold degrees and certifications to teach in their area of expertise.  We also provide our staff with professional development, so we take great pride in the program we are delivering to our families.  Overall, we provide both education and care – so we're the entire package!

When can I tour?

We offer tours daily, call today to set up a time that's convenient for you and your child!

Do you have a school-aged program?

Yes, we offer a before and after-school program as well as summer camp!  We also offer "Drop-In" care for snow days, school holidays, or general closings.  Limited space is available, so reserve your child's space soon!

Is the staff CPR and First Aid trained?

We always have staff on site who are CPR and First Aid trained.  Additionally, all administrative personnel are as well.  As an added safety measure we have postings in each classroom, as a quick reference, to remind teachers what to do if a child is choking.

Can the center administer medication?

Imagination Station is authorized to administer emergency medications only.  Emergency medications are defined as inhalers, epinephrine, and Benadryl, which treat life-threatening illnesses/emergencies.

Does my child need to be potty trained to attend your program?

Imagination Station prides itself on tailoring its services to the needs of our students.  Knowing that every child develops at their own pace, we do not require children to be potty trained by a certain age.
